Moving Day

For a military family this day happens on the average of once every three years.  It is a day that many dread and others look forward to.  A time to say good-bye and a day of anticipation to get it over with.  A day that some look forward to knowing that they will soon see old friends that are at the new base.

Regardless of what your personal outlook is - there are boxes to pack, clean out to be done, clean up to be completed, and in general - getting ready for the movers or loading the U-haul truck.

This section is designed to assist in those efforts and give you some tips that will hopefully make it easier to tolerate and endure.

Before we go too far the United States Transportation Command has published a new version of the "It's Your Move" as of 15 January 2020.

This section will present the booklet's information divided into the appropriate sections.
